Vin Doux refers to a category of sweet, fortified wines made from grapes that are high in sugar and whose fermentation is stopped by the addition of a neutral alcohol. This wine is made from Viognier and is fortified with brandy to raise the alcohol content to 17%. A great aperitif or dessert wine.
