It’s like the Osmonds! I’m a little bit country and you’re a little bit rock’n roll, but in bottle.
As the curtains rise and the spotlight shines this gem sparkles by showing a deep concentration of color, dark cherry red with a hint of candied apple, just like Marie’s lipstick. The twang of her soft country crooner drawl reminds us of the innocence of those classic country songs of young love and riding horses — just like the freshness of the red raspberry, ripe blackberry spice and a hint of violet in this Grenache.
Then this is the part where Donny makes his entrance, you know, the rock ‘n roller. Really, how many rock ‘n rollers wore powder blue jump suits? Ok, well maybe James Brown, but he didn’t sing love songs with his sister either. The powerhouse flavor of dried fig and plum blended with the firm tannins lasts longer than an Eddie Van Halen guitar solo. The fun part about this wine is that there is a harmonizing horn section during the guitar solo, most likely from the Tower of Power, that sends in the clove, vanilla and dense finish. Very soon you can visit 2007 Wilderotter Grenaches’ star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.
