Starts off with a rhone style mineral bouquet and carefully opens to a nose of ripe cherry and cassis. It finally ends on notes of anise, sage & parsley lingering in the nostrils. This mid-bodied wine has a burst of fresh cherry on the front of the mouth and mingles with hints of sage on the mid palate before finishing with notes cassis on the end. Can be enjoyed now, decanted or preferably laid down for 1 year – will age nicely for 1-5 years.
