Amador Vintners’ “Behind the Cellar Door”
The wineries of Amador County, in the heart of California’s picturesque Sierra Foothills, are intent on keeping wine lovers warm and cozy this winter. To do so, they’re inviting oenophiles “Behind the Cellar Door” for a winter weekend of wine, food and fun, at The Amador Vintners’ annual “Behind the Cellar Door’ winter wine extravaganza. Featured tastings of new wines and current releases at 32 Amador wineries, along with gourmet foods, live music and entertaining seminars designed to enhance attendees’ knowledge and appreciation of wine. Tickets $50 weekend, $35 Saturday or Sunday, $50 Friday night Cellar Feast $10 Designated Drivers.

Wilderotter will feature tastings of 2 new wines; 2007 Estate Petite Sirah & 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon paired with a special appetizer that Chef Beth Sogaard of Amador Vintage Market has prepared.  Spaghetti, meatballs, & sausage with Andre’s Bakery French Bread  will also  be served.
